• Wash your hands with an oil free soap/detergent and water.
• Push back cuticles and shape your nails. 
• Roughen the nail surface with the nail file included in the package.
• Prepare a piece of cotton wool with surgical spirit and wipe your nails. Let dry. 
• Make sure your nails are dry before applying your nail wraps.

No base coat is required. Just make sure your nails are prepped well!

After curing be sure that you file the nail wrap properly so that is completely flush to your nail. Also make sure that you prepared your nails and applied your nail wraps well!

You may use your hands as soon as the top coat has dried. We always recommend not to use water, creams or lotion for a couple of hours. This is why we love to apply our nail wraps before bed.

Stay away from harsh chemicals that can irritate your hands and nails. Wear gloves when cleaning because nails are permeable, even more than hands.

You may also wish to apply a high quality top coat of your choosing, however, we recommend testing it on one nail first. There is a risk that the wraps may peel off prematurely if the top coat's composition is not compatible with our wraps.

We love to pamper ourselves so we use extra virgin coconut oil to bathe our nails in it. It gives our nails some TLC too!

Dip the nails in the coconut oil and leave them for a few minutes. Lift the nail wraps off the nails gently using the wooden stick.

Alternatively, you can soak them in warm water.

Use a soft cloth and wipe clean. If some traces of glue remains you can file them gently with a nail buffer.

We recommend leaving the nails free for a day just to give your nails some air, but you can apply a new set straight away. 

The most important thing is that nails are clean, dry, oil free and sanitized before applying a new set.

With proper storage and protection from heat and light our Elegansa nail wraps will last several years unopened and in their original packaging. Once opened, you should use your nail wraps within 6 months. 

Store opened products well-packed in the protective sleeve, in a dark and cool place. This applies to both our polish and UV gel nail wraps.

Our strips are safe enough to reapply immediately if you wish so (Following instructions for perfect application).

However, we recommend that you give your nails a break so that they can breath and in the mean time applying coconut oil to give your nails some strength and moisture.

Elegansa nail wraps are designed to be totally safe and will not damage your natural nails if applied and removed correctly. Our wraps are HEMA free to ensure there are no allergic reactions!

We recommend using coconut oil for a smoother and healthier removal process. If I need to remove your nail wraps, make sure to be gentle so that you do not damage your nails.

Elegansa nail and gel wraps if applied correctly strengthen and protect the nails, allowing your natural nails to grow longer more easily and quickly.

Always use a smaller size and you can stretch the nail wrap a bit to adjust.

Alternatively you can also cut to size easily.  It works best if you cut them while they are still on the strip. This way you can customize any oversized wrap in the set to fit perfectly. You can also refer to our size charts.

Yes our wraps can be applied to shorter nails and will help them grow stronger!
